Deborah McCoy recently spoke at the Regent’s College
Events’ Forum that was held in London.
Dear UK Friends:
I recently returned from a speaking engagement at Regent’s College, London, where I talked about wedding planning as a profession. The turnout was amazing, with hundreds of delegates attending from all over the world! I was astounded by the interest shown in wedding planning/bridal consulting as a career and the intellect and graciousness of the students that I had the honor of meeting.
Weddings in the UK mirror ours statistically. The average cost is about the same, and your brides- and grooms-to-be experience the same type of problems when planning their weddings as ours. Everyone is busy, working, and stressed. Who has the time today or the expertise to plan a wedding successfully? That’s where the wedding planner/bridal consultant comes into play. The expertise, knowledge and experience of the professional wedding planner cannot be overlooked or underplayed. When it comes to weddings today, they are a necessity, just like a marriage license.
The AAWP professional wedding-planning course is done online but with a big difference. We are highly interactive.
